DIRTY HONEY

I recently had the honor of watching Dirty Honey headline with an astonishing performance at The Forge in Joliet, Illinois; one of their many stops on the ‘California Dreamin’ tour. Sharing the stage with them is Mac Saturn and Dorothy, the dynamic of these three artists created an incredible atmosphere. They kicked off the show with and the room lit up, whistling and cheering filled the venue.
Something I immediately noticed during their set was the way lead singer, Marc LaBelle, interacted with everyone in the crowd as if they were lifelong friends. One thing that stood out to me was when he would hold his microphone out towards the crowd and allow them to sing along with him, it made the show feel very intimate. There’s something so special about seeing the way fans react to watching a band that they love, and after this show I can understand why; Dirty Honey is not only extremely talented but they enjoy what they do and it’s very evident.
When I heard about this show I immediately knew that I wanted to attend, and I was absolutely blown away with what I saw, this was my first Dirty Honey show but it definitely will not be my last.
