SKIIFALL OPENS for BADBADNOTGOOD's Talk Memory tour

SkiiFall, Montreal-based rapper, warmed up the crowd for the last date on BADBADNOTGOOD's Talk Memory tour. St.Vincent native is making way for nu-wave hip hop inspired by Caribbean beats like Dancehall. Break the Dawn featuring BADBADNOTGOOD, for example, combines dancehall, jazz, and hip hop influences into one song. SkiiFall balances both Caribbean and hip hop styles in his singles as he infusing the singing style of reggae songs into the sound of a smooth saxophone interlude.
“Bloodclarrt Business” is one of the latest singles released before this tour that embodies his style and contribution to hip hop. And “Ting Tun Up” one of his breakthrough singles and crowd favorite of the night. As stated in his Fader interview, his fans won't see a debut album just yet: "Because you can’t make good music overnight, every night. I need to experience life, listen to more music and learn more about myself, the people around me, and society. " We will be waiting eagerly for a full-length album when comes out for Skiifall in the future.
