BROOKLYN, NY 10.23.25
BY TESSA YOUNG
Kitty Craft, also known as Pamela Valfer, took to Xanadu’s stage last Thursday night in Brooklyn, New York. Known for her underground indie trip-pop of the 90s, her latest EP from this past July brought back a crowd of fans old and new. As both a music artist and a visual artist, Kitty Craft’s pieces tend to be filled with playful rhythms and patterns that allow you to imagine collages forming while listening. As she performed from her repertoire spanning the 90s, 2000s, and 2020s, she shared stories of inspirations and meanings behind her creations. With works so full of whimsy yet grounded in meaningful lyricism, it was exciting to see her fans dance and sing-a-long to the melodies of the magical Kitty Craft!
