One could have mistaken walking into Saint Avangeline’s headlining show at The Meadows Sunday night as walking into a vampire lair: more specifically, a lesbian vampire lair. Known for her ethereal, sultry, and hard rock aesthetic, Saint Avangeline lured and lulled her audience with a range that spans classical operatic scales to hardcore screamo. It was a divinely hypnotizing performance that gave every fan a chance to fully experience Saint Avangeline’s musical and lyrical catharsis alongside her. Mainly performing from her 2024 album Inferno, it introduced her more hard rock elements on stage that kept the audience moving and moshing into the night.
