The Two Lips

The Two Lips headlined New York City’s Lower East Side Bowery Ballroom stage Sunday night for their “Kiss & Tell” tour. Best friends, lovers, and situationships filled the crowd dressed in bows, polkadots, lace, and sailor hats – signatures of duo Andrea and Julia. With their first ever EP released only two days prior, it was more than clear that their rise to fame would only continue to grow as beloved fans sang and chanted along, lyrics already memorized by heart.

Hailing from Los Angeles, The Two Lips started out making bedroom pop in 2023. Their single “Still Love You (Todavia)” hit the charts beginning last fall, giving a place to their name in many hopeless romantics’ playlists. Their EP “girl, c’mon!” perfectly encapsulates navigating the bouts of girlhood in your 20s. From friendship breakups, silly insecurities, messy relationships, and pure friendship, each song performed gave each fan a feeling to relate to.

Closing out the night with a teaser of an upcoming release, “Still Love You (Todavia)” in Spanish, it was a sweet and kind way to bid goodbye to their New York City fans for the time being.
